Refresher Tuesday: Nappily Ever After Review + Protein Shake

           Welcome back, Risers! Close your eyes for a second. Now, think about everything you love. Name off a few. What did you think of? Your family? Your friends? Your things? How long would you have to go down the list before you said you love yourself? This Tuesday, we are learning to love ourselves. And what’s more refreshing than finally accepting yourself and starting to love yourself?

            Herlinda (@herlindashealthyliving) has reviewed Netflix’s “Nappily Ever After” for us! Read her review below.




My friend Paola asked us Risers to watch this movie and give our thoughts on it... Well first of all, it was amazing! I really needed this movie in my life! I feel like a lot of us can relate to this movie in some way, shape, or form. Sometimes we just feel like perfection is what we need to be and it’s not...we are what we need to be...every imperfection that we have makes us who we are and We are all beautiful in all different ways...that’s what makes us all beautifully unique!

            Next, Paola and Chase decided to take a whack at a new protein shake recipe. Read below for the recipe:




·      1 Apple
·      1 cup of almond milk or water
·      1 scoop vanilla protein powder
·      1/8 tsp nutmeg
·      1/8 tsp cinnamon
·      1/8 tsp pumpkin spice
·      6 ice cubes

This protein shake is delicious and refreshing and perfect for the fall season!
