DIY Face Mask + Risers in the Kitchen

I know we normally do these on specific days, but alas, life gets in the way so better late than never, right?

            Today we have a special treat for you Risers. We have a bunch of super simple face masks as well as a vegan white chili that is to die for.




            First, we’ll do the face mask because it’s super simple and super quick. Obviously, there are a bunch in the picture; however, Paola tried to the mask to promote healthy skin.

            The ingredients:
·      1 tablespoon of coconut oil
·      1 tablespoon of turmeric

       You’ll melt the mixture in the microwave and then rub onto your face. Leave on for five
minutes and use warm water to rinse.


        Paola’s face ended up being super smooth and she loved the mask. Make sure to try
out the other ones and let us know how they are!



            Next, we have a vegan white chili provided to us by Melanie (@melanie.dillingham)!

            The ingredients:
·      1 tbsp olive oil
·      1 white onion, diced
·      1 green bell pepper, diced small
·      1 jalapeno, diced
·      3 garlic cloves, minced
·      1 tbsp cumin
·      1/4 cup cornstarch
·      4 cups low-sodium vegetable broth
·      3 15- ounce cans Great Northern beans, drained and rinsed
·      1 4- ounce can chopped green chilies
·      3/4 cup frozen corn
·      2 cups warmed almond milk
·      Salt / Pepper, to taste
·      Lime juice, to taste
·      garnish options: cilantro, avocado, tortilla chips, pickled jalapenos, radish slices, hot sauce

It’s super delicious and super filling. Try it out and take pictures and then tag us!
