Refresher Tuesday: Hiit It!

October 09, 2018
Happy Tuesday, Rise fam! If any of you are like us, then you’re definitely not a fan of the Tuesday Blues. Yeah, everyone hates Monday, but Tuesdays? The WORST. You’ve accepted a new week; however, it already seems like it’s dragging. Tuesdays at Rise. Run. Soar. are aiming to help you get back your energy and kick the rest of this week’s butt!

Follow these four easy steps and by the end of the day, we promise you’ll be ready for the rest of the week.

Step one: Head on over to Wandereader and check out Chase’s book review blog!

There’s nothing more exciting than picking out a new book and falling in love with a new world and new characters. Plus, sometimes all you really need is to get away from reality for a bit. We’re currently loving Josh and Hazel’s Guide to Not Dating by Christina Lauren! It’s the perfect quirky and comedic read to help you get out of your head for a while. Check out the review and where to purchase here!

Step two: Hiit up the gym!

Tuesdays at Rise Fitness are hiit days. What’s a hiit, you ask? High intensity interval training. Hiit workouts get your body pumping and ready for the day! Chase’s hiit consisted of the following:

            6 Rounds:
            15 Jump squats
            12 Bosu ball push ups
            40 Wall mountain climbers
            .25 mile run

Step three: Cool down with a refreshing juice blend!

Paola and Chase tried out a juice blend consisting of cucumbers, celery, oregano, and a little bit of spinach. Blend it with ice and about 2 ounces of water and you’ve got yourself a filling and refreshing smoothie!

Celery has so many benefits including lowering cholesterol, lowering blood pressure, balancing PH levels, promoting hydration, promoting weight loss, and calming nerves. Some health benefits of cucumbers include promoting digestion, preventing headaches, and relieves joint pain. Oregano is used for many things, some of which include relieving headaches and migraines, curing colds, flus, and coughs, helping urinary tract infections, and many more!

Step four: Say one thing you’re thankful for.

Whether it be nice weather, your family, or even just being able to wake up today, saying one thing you’re thankful for is a great way to end the day! Rise. Run. Soar. is thankful for all of you who support us! We couldn’t do it without you.

With Love,
 Rise. Run. Soar.
